75-Year-Old Woman Shot In Face: Philadelphia Police

Two people were shot — including a 75-year-old woman — in a Port Richmond home on Tuesday evening, Nov. 21, Philadelphia police told Daily Voice.

It happened inside a property on the 2600 block of Salmon Street around 4:45 p.m., authorities said.

The 75-year-old victim was shot once in the face and a 41-year-old woman was hit once in the right shoulder, said police. Both were taken to Temple University Hospital and placed in stable condition, according to officials.

One person is in custody though their name was not reported by police. The investigation is ongoing, they added.
